Professional Focus The emerging Neuroeconomy encompasses telemedicine, advanced precision neuroimaging, and related neurodiagnositc testing, such as neurogenomics. Applied to the clinical environment, my interests span the endeavors of neuronal salvage and restoration; neuroregeneration; cognitive enhancement and augmentation; neurocybernetics; neuromarketing; neuroaesthetics; and neural connectomics. My life's work has been devoted to gaining a better understanding of the function of the nervous system in order to apply therapeutic strategies to optimize function for my patients.I balance my for-profit business activities by donating a substantial amount of my time to hardworking, uninsured patients through Volunteers in Medicine and other related philanthropic activities.
